Springwood Ventures is managed by 3 experienced partners. Each of these partners brings to Springwood many years of experience and maturity in business.
Bryan Sparks - Managing Partner
has been a high-tech entrepreneur and founder of several companies. He has also started several businesses outside of high-tech. He has extensive business management experience, equity financing and is well versed in various high-tech fields. He has served as Chairman, CEO, CTO, board member, founder, et al, in various companies.
Sparks has served on several boards for various private and public corporations and non-profits. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Brigham Young University.
Bryce Burns - Partner
has extensive experience in management, finance and operations in information technology and other industries. He is a partner and investor in various companies, several of which he has helped start. He has served in roles ranging from Chairman, CEO, sales, business development of publically held companies and as CEO, COO, et al, in various private companies.
Mr. Burns holds an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University and a B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of Utah.
Brad Sparks - Partner
has extensive experience in industries ranging from golf, turf and ornamental, chemicals/fertilizers, landscape consumer products, services and specialized equipment. He has served as a golf course superintendent at private country clubs in the midwest. He has served in roles in sales, service, operations and management in various companies. He is a founder of several companies and has extensive experience in operations and as technical and horticultural advisor.
Damon Darais - Vice President, Marketing
has vast background in product management and marketing in high tech industry. Prior to joing Springwood Ventures, Damon served as Vice Presient of Marketing for MaxStream, a leader in wireless device networking. Before joining MaxStream, Darais was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Operations for a large Salt Lake City medical clinic. Prior to that, Darais held various marketing and product management positions with such IT giants as Citrix Systems, Novell and WordPerfect. Darais holds a bachelor,s degree in electronics engineering technology from Brigham Young University.
